Many were forced to overpay for short-term housing, endure unsafe accommodations, or commute long distances during rotations. Some even had to sleep in hospital parking lots due to a lack of affordable options.

Determined to create a better way, Dr. Tracee transformed her own home into the first MedSurf property, offering a co-living experience that prioritized safety, comfort, and affordability. Since then, MedSurf has grown into a trusted network of mid-term rentals across the United States, hosting thousands of nights for students, residents, and traveling professionals.
